Blackbeard Pirate Festival
Once a year visitors from all over the country enjoy the sights and sounds of 18th century Hampton overrun by pirates. Hampton’s waterfront comes alive with dozens of pirate re-enactors, costumed in historically accurate garb, who transform today’s Hampton into the busy seaport of yesterday.

Hampton Mosaic Festival
The new Hampton Mosaic Festival: A Celebration of Culture, History and the Arts began in 2023. Combining the best elements of the Hampton History Museum’s Heritage Day and the City’s International Children’s Festival, as well as Hampton Clean City Commission’s Earth Day Festival, our vision is to celebrate the diverse history and cultures found in Hampton and around the world.

Vendor Applications & Sponsorship Packets
Hampton Parks, Recreation & Leisure Services accepts applications from food and merchandise vendors, exhibitors, entertainers, and volunteers throughout the year. The department welcomes sponsors who wish to be involved and expand their brands with outreach and community support.

Wonder Walk
The Holiday Wonder Walk is held each December along Hampton’s Waterwalk Trail. Visitors will experience a holiday wonderment of lights, scenery and decorations along the picturesque trail.
