The Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court handles cases involving juveniles and families, including: juveniles accused of delinquent acts, children who have been abused or neglected, families or household members who have been abused, and spouses seeking support after separation.

A court service unit, sometimes called the Juvenile Probation Department, helps serve the court and works with the supervision, rehabilitation and treatment of those who come before the court.
