Youth Advisory Group

The mission of the Youth Advisory Group is to discover and create opportunities that bring diverse young people together. The group is composed of 13 members age 13 to 19.

As an extension of the Citizens' Unity Commission, the Youth Advisory Group represents the voice of young Hampton residents on issues related to diversity and inclusion. The group's goals are:

To increase opportunities for Hampton youth to engage in meaningful dialogues on diversity and inclusion; and
To plan and execute events that raise awareness about diversity and inclusion among Hampton teens.

The Youth Advisory Group uses a great deal of time planning and executing youth-centered events that raise awareness about the value of diversity and promote mutual respect for our differences.
