Youth Violence Prevention Mini-Grants

Since 2012, Youth Violence Prevention Mini-Grant funds have been available as a component of the Hampton Youth Violence Prevention initiative to support community based grassroots programs that address youth violence. Currently, the Youth Violence Prevention Mini-Grant Fund Program offers funding for projects that support the work of groups to implement collaborative efforts to provide positive activities, services and programs for youth in the City of Hampton (City).

Eligible Applicants

Eligible applicants, under this solicitation, include grassroots organizations, community-based organizations, or neighborhood groups. This solicitation is not open to local governmental agencies, schools, or fee for service based businesses. Review our general grant policies (PDF) document for more information.

Reporting Requirements

Applicants who are awarded grant funds must comply with reporting expectations to include financial reports, progress reports and a project completion report. Guidelines will be provided.
