VA Rules Camp

VA Rules Camp 1

Virginia Rules Camp is a statewide, law-themed summer day camp that is hosted by Virginia law enforcement agencies. It offers young people a fun and healthy week learning about Virginia laws and building positive relationships with law enforcement officers in their community.

While most young people are out of school for the summer, many have little to keep them busy. Rising sixth through eighth grade students are at an ideal age to benefit from Virginia Rules Camp. The free camp offers participants positive outdoor experiences, companionship, and an early opportunity to make healthy choices in their lives.

Sponsored by the Hampton Police Department; Parks, Recreation & Leisure Services Department; Hampton Roads Committee of 200+ Men Inc.; and Office of Youth and Young Adult Opportunities, the city’s Virginia Rules Camp has room for 50 students from Hampton.

The camp is held each August. Registrations forms are available in the spring. Return completed forms to:

Fort Monroe Community Center
100 Stilwell Road
Hampton, VA 23651
