Travelling Pop-Up 1619 Exhibit Available

Beginning January 1, 2020, there will be a $150 rental fee for the exhibit.

In commemoration of the 1619 arrival of the first Africans in English North America, the Hampton History Museum has two pop-up versions of its exhibit "1619: Arrival of the First Africans" available for community groups, schools, churches, libraries, events, and other uses. Consisting of 6 retractable banners that can easily be transported in most vehicles.

The public can borrow the exhibits free of charge, with the exception of shipping costs for groups out of the area. To reserve the exhibits, complete our online form or email Hampton History Museum curator Allen Hoilman.
