93% of the division’s schools are accredited without conditions
- Highest accreditation rate in six years
Posted the highest on-time graduation rate of 92.6% since 2008
Lowest dropout rate – 1.57 percent – in two decades
- Below statewide average of 5.5 percent
- Second lowest of the 15 school divisions in our region
Dual enrollment credit hours increased 600 percent over the past three years, totaling 6,977 credits earned since 2015-16
- Saving students and families nearly $1 million in Virginia Community College System tuition
- Equivalent to a total cost savings of approximately $6.3 million at a four-year college or university
The Class of 2018 earned 2,517 industry credentials across 66 different industry pathways
- The Academies of Hampton offered 16 wall-to-wall college and career academies with 44 pathways throughout our four high schools
- Featured in Old Dominion University’s 2018 State of the Region Report as The Next Generation of Learning in Hampton Roads
- Highlighted by the Center for American Progress as one of the four models working across the country for high school redesign
