Current Projects
Volunteer Projects Projects are specific short-term tasks that have a start date / time as well as a completion date. Our project list is updated frequently. Requirements for project volunteers are as follows:
At least 16 years of age with parental supervision Completed application Interviews and background check may be conducted - depending on project Projects can be completed by individuals, work groups, Boy Scout or Girl Scout troops, school groups - they are open to all! Additional information regarding project specifics and logistics will be provided prior to project start dates.

Sandy Bottom Nature Park Adopt a flowerbed - Regularly maintain any or part of the flowerbeds within the park Adopt a Trail - You or your group to provide scheduled maintenance Clean grills throughout the park - wire, clean and paint Armistead Point Trail maintenance Trash pick up To Volunteer Fill out the appropriate application for you and we will be in contact with you:
