[ARCHIVED] MAC Float at the Hampton Holly Days Parade - Volunteers Welcome!

The Hampton Military Affairs Committee (MAC) is seeking military and veteran volunteers to help decorate and ride in our holiday float at the 2014 Hampton Holly Days Parade. Join us at this signature Hampton event to create your own special memory of the holiday season.

The Holly Days Parade, which takes place at 7:00 PM on December 13th in Downtown Hampton, is the Peninsula’s largest illuminated holiday parade. This year’s theme is “Joy to the World, Part 2” and it promises to be an evening of delightful entertainment. Check out the creative floats and enjoy the procession of local high school bands, military marching units and precision drill teams. There will be prizes and awards for floats and performances by school, community, commercial and military participants and teams. And for the children, Santa will be there too!

For more information on the parade, go to http://www.hampton.gov/parks/holly_days/. For more information on the MAC Float, contact us by clicking the 311 Call Center link at www.hampton.gov or by dialing 3-1-1. If you live outside the city limits or are using a cell phone, call 757-727-8311. We are accepting 10 volunteers on a first come, first served basis, so catch the holiday spirit and volunteer today.
