[ARCHIVED] Feedback on regional hazard mitigation plan

The federal government requires localities to have a mitigation plan and update it regularly in order to receive grant funds.
This time, the region is working together under the coordination of the Hampton Roads Planning District
Commission to pursue a regional multi-jurisdictional hazard mitigation planning process.
There are three regional meetings to solicit input. Hampton is hosting a meeting Thursday, Feb. 26 at 6:30 p.m. at Sandy Bottom Nature Park, 1255 Big Bethel Rd.
The targeted completion of the plan update process is November 1, 2016.
