[ARCHIVED] Early release for schools, one budget meeting cancelled

Thursday, March 5, 2015 - Due to the weather forecast, Hampton City Schools will have a two-hour early release today for students. Also, the city manager's budget input session scheduled for tonight has been cancelled.

As part of the 2016 fiscal year budget process, City Manager Mary Bunting and her staff scheduled two meetings this month where the public was invited to provide its input.

Although the first meeting, at Kecoughtan High School, has been cancelled, the second meeting is still set for Saturday, March 7, from 9:30-11 a.m. at Hampton High School, 1491 W. Queen St.
