[ARCHIVED] Sunday's high tide raises flooding concern

Oct. 3, 2015 - The forecast from the National Weather Service calls for occasional rain and sustained winds today of about 20 mph. After the flooding Friday, the big concern now is on a high tide of about 6 ft. that’s expected Sunday at 3:14 p.m.

The high tide Friday was 6.2 ft. Flooding Sunday could be about the same as Friday. Residents are urged to remain careful and avoid driving into flooded streets. Wind gusts of 34-40 mph are also expected Sunday into Monday.
