Workshops are available March 12th and April 2nd and 9th at the Hampton Clean City Commission Office, 1296 Thomas Street.

April 2, 9am - 11am
April 9, 3pm - 5pm

Rain barrels capture the rain that runs off your roof and lets you use it when you need it. Without a rain barrel, the water runs through your yard, into a storm drain or ditch, and out to the Chesapeake Bay, taking nutrients from your yard and pollution from the street with it. Your rain barrel saves that water so you don't have to pay to water your landscape, reduces storm water runoff, and helps keep our Bay clean.

Did you know that you could capture 1,200 gallons of water from a 2,000 square foot roof during a one-inch rain? That is, if you had enough rain barrels...

So sign up today for this practical and educational workshop and start saving some water! Go to then look for Quick Links. Click on Register for a Rain Barrel Workshop.
