Kronos Upgrade - July 8 weekend
The Kronos Team is planning an upgrade to the Kronos application, beginning Friday evening, July 8, and continuing through that weekend. Kronos will be unavailable for employees beginning at 5 p.m. on July 8. However, if you swipe your badge at a timeclock over that weekend, those punches will be recorded and will update your timecard as soon as the upgrade is completed.

Afterward, there will be a new link to access the upgraded system. The old links and shortcuts will no longer work.

Here is a video showing the new features that you will be seeing.

Most of the screen changes are cosmetic and the processes have remained the same. You might want to view the Power Point slides that were used for the creation of the video so you can print them if desired. Sometimes it is easier to see differences if you are looking at the two screens (old version and new version) at the same time.

Training sessions
The Kronos Team will also be holding sessions for those that would like more information or have additional upgrade questions after viewing the video. Dates and times for those sessions will be as follows:

Wednesday, June 29, 10 a.m.-11 a.m.: YEFS
Thursday, June 30, 10 a.m.-11 a.m.: City Council Chambers
Wednesday, July 6, 2 p.m.-3 p.m.: City Council Chambers

There are also sessions being planned at HPD and DSS, but the dates/times have not been finalized.system to guarantee all employees will be paid for all time worked. It will also allow for pay policies to be consistent with regard to overtime, compensation (comp) time, on call, etc. Leave balances will be accurate and able to forecast into the future which should assist employees with potential time off plans.
