[ARCHIVED] Turn in old, unwanted drugs during National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day

Oct. 14, 2016 - Saturday, Oct. 22 is National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day, and Hampton's Sheriff's Office and police department want to give you a safe, convenient and responsible way to dispose of prescription drugs.

From 10 a.m.-2 p.m. you can turn your drugs in to the police in the parking lot next to the emergency room entrance at Sentara Careplex Hospital, 3000 Coliseum Drive. You can also turn your drugs in to the Sheriff's Office at the Carmel Center, 136 Kings Way, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
