[ARCHIVED] Front Porch Music Series presents duo In Layman Terms

Logan and Cole Layman

Nov. 30, 2016 - Join us Wednesday, Dec. 21 from 6-8 p.m. for an evening of blues, classic rock, folk, jazz, even a little country and pop all blended together for a unique foot-stomping sound that is In Layman Terms.

Cole and Logan Layman have grown up making music together. They are both multi-instrumentalists and write original music. They are young, passionate, and love blues and jazz. Their unique and diverse sound ranges from gritty, foot-stomping acoustic work, to an electrified big-band sound. There are Americana undertones and a hint of modern flair in their music.

Cole and Logan will be joined by Hamed Barbarji on trumpet and Austin Pierce on drums. No matter how they present their music, the core is rooted in the blues, and it is the undeniable connection these siblings have that shines through and makes them special.

The event is free to museum members, $5 for non-members. Beer and wine will be available for purchase from La Bodega Hampton.

The Hampton History Museum is located at 120 Old Hampton Lane in Downtown Hampton. There is free parking in the garage across the street from the museum. For more information call 757-727-1102.
