[ARCHIVED] Public meeting scheduled on Poquoson, Back River water quality

Feb. 2, 2017 - Virginia's Department of Environmental Quality will host a public meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday, March 16 to provide information and get public comment on water quality standards for the Poquoson River, Back River and several tributaries. The meeting will be in the conference room at Sandy Bottom Nature Park.

The public comment period on information presented at the meeting will end April 17. All written comments should be sent to Rachel Hamm, DEQ Tidewater Regional Office, 5636 Southern Boulevard, Virginia Beach, Va., 23642, or email rachel.hamm@deq.virginia.gov. Please include the name, address, and telephone number of the person submitting the comments.
