windy

April 6, 2017 - The latest update from the National Weather Service shows that the threat of severe weather has diminished, although a tornado watch remains in effect until 1 p.m.  Strong to severe storms - with large hail and damaging wind gusts -  remain possible through early afternoon. Conditions are expected to improve later in the afternoon, with cooler and breezy to windy conditions from mid-afternoon through Friday. Hampton's Emergency Management Office, along with police, fire and Public Works, continue to monitor the situation.
