[ARCHIVED] New signs should make it easier to make your way around City Hall

IMG_2426

May 16, 2017 - Visitors and employees at City Hall should notice a new look in the hallways at 22 Lincoln St.  Bright new gray and white floor signs were added Tuesday outside the elevator doors on floors 3-8.  The new signs include raised floor numbers and arrows to point visitors  - and employees - in the right direction.  They are part of a continuing effort to improve directional signs inside City Hall, including signs and labels outside departments, on each floor and in the lobby. The goal is to provide clean and visually attractive signs that can last beyond any changes in the city’s logo, color scheme or branding — any of which can be added later as free-standing elements. The new signs are larger, partly to be more visible and partly to cover any wall imperfections from the previous signs.
