Aug. 9, 2017 – The business magazine released a list of top 12 black "Shark Tank" entrepreneurs who found success after their appearance on the reality show. On the list were Hampton's 'Mango, Mango' Mango Preserves owners Nzinga Teule-Hekima, Lakesha Brown-Renfro and Tanecia Willis.

The women appeared on ‘Shark Tank’ in 2013, asking for $75k in exchange for 20% equity, the sharks all passed saying the company was doing well on its own. That success only continued for Mango Preserves. Since the show, Mango Preserves has become a million-dollar company and sells the product nationwide and on the QVC shopping channel.

The women have added three other enterprises all located in Phoebus:

Mango Mangeaux restaurant, Simple Panache Place hotel and Simply Panache Nail Bar & Pedi Spa, all located in Phoebus.

The list includes 11 other black entrepreneurs in honor of National Black Business Month in August.
