[ARCHIVED] Learn pet first-aid, CPR and shelter training at Northampton Community Center

Sept. 7, 2017 - Learn pet first-aid, CPR and shelter training at the Northampton Community Center, 1435 Todds Lane, on Saturday, Sept. 30 from 9 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Sponsored by Hampton's Community Animal Response Team, the class is free for Hampton or Poquoson residents interesting in volunteering as part of CART. Interested residents are encouraged to bring a light lunch or snacks and a drink, because there will not be a lunch break.

CART is a network of animal-related resources that are available for planning, prevention, protection, mobilization, response, and recovery related to emergency incidents within the community. For more information or to register for training, contact sara.parsons@hampton.gov, or call 726-0649. The registration deadline is Sept. 27, 2017.
