[ARCHIVED] Employees encouraged to attend briefing on dental, vision and flexible spending accounts

Nov. 6, 2017 - Open enrollment for the 2018 medical/dental flexible spending account, the 2018 dependent care flexible spending account, and the Delta Dental Plans and EyeMed Vision Plan starts Monday, Nov. 6 and ends at noon Wednesday, Nov. 22.

City employees are encouraged to attend one of several upcoming briefings to become more familiar with the plans and benefits, including significant changes to two of the Delta dental plans. The briefings are:

Tuesday, Nov. 7 at 2:30 p.m. in Community Development Conference Room on the fifth floor of City Hall.
Wednesday, Nov. 8 at 8:30 a.m. in the Community Development Conference Room.
Monday, Nov. 13 at 2:30 p.m. in the Veteran’s Conference Room, Side B, at the Ruppert Sargent Administration Building.
Tuesday, Nov. 14 at 10 a.m. at the Department of Human Services, 1320 LaSalle Ave., Room 223; and at 1 p.m. in the Community Development Conference Room at City Hall.
Wednesday, Nov. 15 at 9:30 a.m. in side B of the Veteran's Conference Room and again at 3 p.m. in side B.
Monday, Nov. 20 at 10:30 a.m. in the Community Development Conference Room at City Hall.

Employees are encouraged to coordinate their attendance with their supervisor or department head. For those who cannot attend a briefing, there will be an online employee chat at noon Wednesday, Nov. 8. This is a convenient way for you to ask your open enrollment questions without leaving your desk.
