[ARCHIVED] Stop by the angel trees and make holiday a little brighter for deserving children

angel-tree-nf-3

Nov. 21, 2017 - Help make the holiday season brighter for dozens of children this year by taking part in the annual Angel Tree program, now in its 10th  year at City Hall.

Ornaments with the names of deserving children written on them are now decorating two Christmas tree that are in the lobby of City Hall next to the door leading to the employee parking lot.

Stop by a tree, take an ornament, and buy a suggested gift for a deserving boy or girl. Plan on returning the ornaments - and your gifts - to a table that will be set up in the lobby of City Hall on Dec. 7. Or, you can call and organizers will pick up your gift.

Organizers also want you to email them your ornament number so that they can keep track of the Angels. You’re encouraged to drop off the gifts unwrapped, but you can sign up to take part in  wrapping all the gifts before they’re delivered. Just let organizers know you want to join the fun. Extra wrapping paper, tape and labels are also needed and appreciated.
