[ARCHIVED] Nominations being accepted now for the You Make A Difference Awards in Hampton

Jan. 17, 2018 - Nominations are now being accepted for the You Make A Difference Awards, honoring people, organizations and projects that make a difference in Hampton. The awards program gives residents a chance to celebrate the hard work and dedication of their neighbors.

There are three categories: The Neighborhood of the Year Award, The Mary B. Johnson Leadership Award, and The Dr. Michael Canty Project of the Year Award.  

You can go online to download nomination forms and learn more about the program. The deadline for nominations is Feb. 16. 

Forms can be delivered by hand, mailed, faxed or emailed to the Community Development Department, Housing and Neighborhood Services, 22 Lincoln St. Hampton, Va. 23669. The fax number is 757-728-2449, and the email address is
