[ARCHIVED] Youth Commission sponsors 2018 Candidates' Forum for school board, council

April 5, 2018 - The Hampton Youth Commission will sponsor a 2018 Candidates' Forum, featuring candidates for Hampton School Board and Hampton City Council, from 6-8 p.m. Monday, April 23, in the veterans conference room at the Ruppert Sargent Building, 1 Franklin Street.

There are eight City Council candidates and four School Board candidates on the ballot  for the general election on Tuesday, May 1. 

The deadline to register to vote or update your registration is Monday, April 9. The deadline to ask for an absentee ballot to be mailed to you is Tuesday, April 24.  You can go online for more voting information.

Here's a list of all the candidates. Polls open at 6 a.m. and close at 7 p.m. Anyone in line at 7 p.m. will be allowed to cast their ballot.
