June 4, 2018 - Defending against mosquitoes takes a concerted effort by the city’s seven-member mosquito control team – and each city resident.

For the record, Hampton focuses on the use of bio-larvicides, which are made of naturally occurring bacteria that keep juvenile mosquitoes from developing. Ultra-low-volume, truck-mounted sprayers are also used, when necessary, in areas where adult mosquitoes are a problem.
