[ARCHIVED] Mosquito spraying planned in Wythe, Big Bethel, Greenlawn and Phoebus areas

Aug. 24, 2018 - The Environmental Services Division of Public Works plans to conduct ultra-low volume spraying this evening in the Wythe, Big Bethel (southwest), Greenlawn and Phoebus neighborhoods.
Areas are chosen for truck-mounted mosquito spraying based on surveillance of the adult and juvenile mosquito population and other factors, including rainfall. Residents can call 311 (or 727-8311 from your cellphone) to arrange for an assessment of mosquitoes in their area.
