[ARCHIVED] Spraying set for Northampton, Southampton, Rip Rap, South Saunders, Buckroe Beach areas

Aug. 29, 2018 - Weather permitting, Public Works plans to conduct ultra-low volume spraying Thursday evening in the Northampton, Southampton, Rip Rap-Seldendfale, South Saunders Road and Buckroe Beach neighborhoods..

Areas are chosen for truck-mounted mosquito spraying based on surveillance of the adult and juvenile mosquito population and other factors, including rainfall. Residents can call 311 (or 727-8311 from your cellphone) to arrange for an assessment of mosquitoes in their area.
