[ARCHIVED] Fort Monroe center will host the 'Get Set 4 All Adapted Sports Day' on Oct. 6

Sept. 19, 2018 - Saturday, Oct. 6, is "Get Set 4 All Adapted Sports Day" at the Fort Monroe Community Center, 100 Stilwell Road. It's a unique opportunity for veterans, wounded warriors, the disabled and able-bodied to participate in a number of activities from 9 a.m.-4 p.m., including sitting volleyball, wheelchair basketball, indoor bocce, outdoor bocce, Zumba and more. You can also meet with program coaches for activities throughout the year.

The free event is sponsored by Get Set 4 All Inc., the Wounded Warrior Project, Hampton Parks, Recreation and Leisure Services Department, and the organization Mission Continues. In addition to all the sports activities there will be live music, kids' activities and vendors.
