Oct. 12, 2018 - Healthy Families' School Age Programs has partnered with Write Brain Books to help develop English literary skills in second through fifth grades. As part of the Young Authors enrichment program, participants will engage in creative writing using wordless books, story mats and story builder cards. The final product will be published with a Library of Congress number. All students will get a copy of their published book and a Write Brain authors certificate. Students are encouraged to donate one of their books to a school, public library, local hospital or shelter.

Daryle Rogers of Hampton City Schools' 21st Century Community Learning Centers, and Meredith Scott Lynn, president of Write Brain, facilitated the donation of products valued at $15,728.
