[ARCHIVED] Hampton police will hold Honor Awards Ceremony Monday at 10 a.m. in Honor Park next to City Hall

May 10, 2019 - Hampton police will have their 2019 Honor Awards and Police Memorial Ceremony at 10 a.m. Monday, May 13, in Honor Park next to the P.G. Minetti Public Safety Building. The ceremony will pay tribute to law enforcement officers who have made the supreme sacrifice and to present honor awards to officers who have distinguished themselves in the line of duty. 

Hampton's fallen officers are Kenneth E. Wallace, Mark C. DeCuypere and Ralph K. Ghivizanni. Also Monday, 35 Hampton officers will receive a number of awards, including Lifesaving, Meritorious Service, and the P.G. Minetti Excellence in Leadership award.

In the event of rain, the ceremony will be held in the Fort Monroe Theatre, 41 Tidball Road.
