May 2, 2019 - More vibrant. Easier to use on tablets and cell phones. Access to even more city services online. Dynamic videos highlighting news and events in Hampton. These are just some of the changes you’ll find on the city’s upgraded website starting Thursday night/Friday morning.

Key features aren’t changing – the top bar on the home page still directs visitors to information on living, playing, doing business, government departments and the important “How do I?” page, providing information on everything from getting a building permit to trash pickup and reading the city budget.

Do you want to know what’s happening in the city?

A new and improved city calendar puts the information right at your fingertips. And if that’s not enough, you can still use the “Notify Me” button to sign up for emergency alerts, newsflashes, bid postings and more. If all of that sounds too complicated, just use the “search” at the top to find information.

Our website, www.hampton.gov, is a quick and easy way to access city information and services. Give it a try. And if there is something we have overlooked, links that don’t work or information you can’t find, email Dacia Walker at dwalker@hampton.gov or Don Mann at DonMann@hampton.gov.
