[ARCHIVED] Blackbeard Pirate Festival -- and all its fun -- returns to downtown Hampton for its 20th year

May 20, 2019 - Hampton’s waterfront comes alive Saturday and Sunday, June 1 and 2, when the annual Blackbeard Pirate Festival returns for its 20th year. Dozens of pirate re-enactors, costumed in historically accurate garb, will transform downtown Hampton into the busy seaport of yesteryear. Led by Blackbeard himself, re-enactors will help visitors step back in time and re-live the history and legends of 1718 Hampton. The festival offers a variety of children’s activities, live music, fireworks, period vendors, arts and crafts, and much more! More Details
