Victorious Community Day 2019 newflash

Aug. 13, 2019 - Victorious Community Day, recognizing young people who have been victimized by gun violence in the city – and the resources available to help all young people recognize themselves as "victors" and not "victims" – will be held Saturday, Aug. 17, from noon to 4 p.m. at Peninsula Town Center. The day will include fun activities, refreshments and a safe environment where everyone can enjoy themselves in the Town Square. Organizers said it will "allow us to engage our youth and their families and let them know that we care and stand with them." Victorious Community Day is sponsored by Hampton Police, the Commonwealth Attorney's Office Victim Services Unit, Hampton Sheriff's Office, Peninsula Town Center, and Coliseum Center. For more information, contact the Hampton Commonwealth's Attorney's Office Victim Service Unit at 757-726-6978.
