[ARCHIVED] Upcoming workshops will focus on Hampton's 5-year consolidated housing plan

Feb. 3, 2020 - Hampton’s Community Development Department is working on its five-year Consolidated Housing Plan, and the public is invited to one of three workshops where you can share your thoughts on affordable housing, housing assistance for special needs, homelessness, and community development. The workshops will be on Feb. 11 from 6:30-8 p. m. at the Ruppert Sargent Building, 1 Franklin St.; on Feb. 12 from 10:30 a.m.-12 p.m. at the Senior Center, 3501 Kecoughtan Rd; and on Feb. 13 from 10-11:30 a.m. at the Y.H. Thomas Community Center, 1300 Thomas St. The completed plan will be submitted to the federal Department of Housing and Urban Development later this year.
