[ARCHIVED] Kids can get their acting together online with Hampton Arts program

July 24, 2020 - Starting in August, students ages 7-17 can get an in-depth look at perfecting their performing arts skills in a series of online classes sponsored by Hampton Arts. The classes:

  • Improv Anywhere... Improv Everywhere: 2-3 p.m. every Tuesday, through Aug. 4. Participants will develop a creative and spontaneous response to stimuli through dynamic play and interaction.
  • Virtual Voice Coaching: 10-11:30 a.m. Mondays and Wednesdays, Aug. 10-Sept. 2. This introductory course is designed to teach you how to make your voice sound more powerful and how to use vocal technique to expand your range and expression.
  • Actin’ Up Teen Actor’s Workshop: 1-2:30 p.m., Mondays and Wednesdays, Aug. 10-Sept. 2. Focuses on scene/side work, monologue performance, character development, movement for the actor and improvisation while rehearsing toward a final zoom showcase.
