Dive into the past with Bayshore Memories at the Hampton History Museum this weekend! First, enjoy an array of vintage photos, artifacts and memorabilia from the premier resort for African Americans on the Chesapeake Bay during the Jim Crow Era on Friday, September 18 & Saturday, September 19, 9 am-4 pm. Admission to this special exhibit is free.

Then, join us for the Virtual Event: BayShore at Buckroe Beach The BayShore Beach Experience. A to Z on the Hampton History Museum Facebook page with hosts Reginald Robinson and July Leonard. Hear stories, learn the history of this beloved waterside paradise, and share in keeping the memories of BayShore alive for future generations!

Admission to the BayShore exhibit is free Friday, September 18 and Saturday, September 19, 9 am-4 pm.

After the event airs live, it can be found under the museum’s Facebook Videos tab, and later the video will be added to the museum’s YouTube playlist.
