[ARCHIVED] Apply now to fill available positions in the Hampton Sheriff's Office

March 23, 2021 — Want to join the dedicated team in the Hampton Sheriff's Office? Fill out an application for one of the opportunities available. If you are interested, you will need to fill out an application and attend a mandatory informational New Applicant Orientation Meeting.

The Sheriff's Office has multiple positions available, both full time and part time, including openings for sheriff's deputies, nurses and dentists. See the full list of Sheriff's Office employment opportunities with descriptions and requirements for the jobs on the sheriff's website. Prospective employees can fill out an online application, or they can pick up application packets at the following locations:

Hampton Correctional Facility, 135 High Court Lane, Hampton, VA 23669
Hampton Community Corrections Center, 1928 W. Pembroke Avenue, Hampton, VA 23661
Hampton Circuit Court (Sheriff's Office), 237 N. King's St., Hampton, VA 23669

Attendance at one of the New Applicant Orientation Meetings is required. See the current meeting dates online. The sessions are held about once a week and are currently held online through Zoom. At the meetings, the Sheriff's Office provide an overview of current vacancies, job expectations, pre-screening requirements, and deadline information and will address any questions.
