[ARCHIVED] View, respond to Hampton's water plans for Downtown, Phoebus, Buckroe

resilience library display 082022

Aug. 2, 2022 — The city wants your feedback on resiliency efforts planned for the Downtown Hampton, Phoebus and Buckroe areas. Through Aug. 26, mobile displays highlighting planned resilience strategies for the three study neighborhoods will be at the Main Library and Phoebus Branch Library. We want to hear from you.

Visit either of these libraries to get updates on plan progress and provide your feedback here. Can't make it to the library? You can also get the detailed updates on our Resilient Hampton planning webpage and scroll down to the bottom to provide feedback.

About the resiliency plans

In spring 2021, Hampton launched its second watershed-level process to identify resilience opportunities in Downtown, Phoebus, and Buckroe. This planning effort is ongoing, and you can learn more about the work to date and opportunities to contribute to the process online at our plan webpage, or get a quick summary in our plan overview. This plan will replicate the successes of the Newmarket Creek Water Plan, while designing for the unique characteristics and conditions of three cultural, historic, and economic hubs in our city.Resilient Hampton Logo
