Here’s a look at how city offices, departments, or services will be affected by the Veterans Day holiday on Friday, Nov. 11.

City Offices                            Closed Friday, Nov. 11.

Garbage collection             No pickup on Friday, Nov. 11. Those Friday collections will be made on Wednesday, Nov. 11.

Yard waste site                     Closed Friday, Nov. 11. Open Saturday from 8 a.m.-3 p.m.

Landfill                                    Open 7 a.m.-4 p.m.

Street sweeping                  No sweeping scheduled Friday, Nov. 11.

City schools                           Open

Libraries                                  Closed Friday, Nov. 11.

Community centers           Closed Friday, Nov. 11.

Neighborhood centers      Closed Friday, Nov. 11.

Fort Monroe Pool                Closed Friday, Nov. 11.

Treasurer’s Office &           Closed Friday, Nov. 11.
