[ARCHIVED] City Council will swear in new members Wednesday

January  9,  2023 - The Hampton City Council  will hold a special  session on Wednesday to swear in two new members.

At 11 a.m. in council chambers on the eighth floor of CityHall, newly elected Hope Harper and Martha Mugler will be  sworn in. The City Council will also choose its vice mayor at this session.

The Council will hold its regular 1 p.m. work session and 6:30 p.m. legislative session on Wednesday as well. You can find agenda here.

City Hall is located at 22 Lincoln  Street. The meetings are open to the public. They will be televised on Hampton City Channel, 47 on Cox and  22 on Verizon, and will  be livestreamed at hampton.gov/tv. Click here for details on how to attend City Council meetings.
