Here’s a look at how these city offices, departments, or services will be affected by the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday on Monday, Jan. 16.

 

City Offices                           Closed Monday, Jan. 16.

Garbage Collection             No regular recycling, refuse, bulk trash or yard waste collection on Monday, Jan. 16. Monday’s waste will be collected on Wednesday, Jan. 18.

Street Sweeping                 Sweeping scheduled for Monday, Jan. 16, will be done on Wednesday, Jan. 18. Sweeping scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 18, will be
                                                   done Friday, Jan. 20.

Yard Waste Site                   Closed Monday, Jan. 16.

Landfill                                   Open regular hours, 7 a.m.-4 p.m.

City Schools                          Closed Monday, Jan. 16.

Libraries                                Closed Monday, Jan. 16. 

Community centers           Closed Monday, Jan. 16.

Neighborhood Centers       Closed Monday, Jan. 16.

Fort Monroe Pool                Closed Monday, Jan. 16.

Treasurer’s Office &            Closed Monday, Jan. 16, but business can be conducted online.
