[ARCHIVED] Spotlight on Small Business: Pearl’s Inc.

Pearl’s, a small business offering flooring and window treatments, offers sales and installation for both government contractors and commercial customers. The business has operated in Hampton since opening its doors 1958 and has a well established reputation for high quality products and service.

Pearl’s president, Sally Krob, worked for the company for over 7 years before purchasing the business in 2010. Her husband, Dirk Krob, has been with the company for over 23 years as head of installation operations.

Certified as a Small Woman and Minority (SWaM) owned business, Pearl’s has been awarded several contracts by the City of Hampton and continues to work closely with government agencies.

In 2013 Pearl’s moved from its former Mallory Street address to their new location at 2100 Aluminum Avenue, Suite 110 in the Copeland Business Center.

Why did Pearl’s choose to remain in Hampton? According to Sally Krob, "We live and work in Hampton and the city offers our business unlimited opportunity with its central location."
