[ARCHIVED] Sheriff's Office is holding hiring event Feb. 25 for deputies, other positions

Feb. 17, 2023 — The Hampton Sheriff's Office will hold a recruitment and hiring event on Saturday, Feb. 25, at the Old Circuit Court Building, 101 Kings Way. Registration begins at 8 a.m., and all applicants should be prepared for interviews. Snacks will be provided.

Those applying for deputy positions should wear sweats and sneakers and be prepared for an agility test. Anyone applying for other positions should dress in business attire. The office is accepting applications for deputies, part-time court deputies, part-time transportation officers, part-time Corrections Control Center operators, nurses and dental assistants.
