Here is a look at how city offices, departments and services will be affected by the Labor Day holiday on Monday, Sept. 4

City offices          Closed Monday, Sept. 4

Garbage              No pickup on Monday, Sept. 4. Collections scheduled for Monday will be done on Wednesday, Sept. 6.

Yard waste         Closed Monday, Sept. 4

Landfill               Closed Monday, Sept. 4

Street                 No sweeping on Monday, Sept. 4. Sweeping schedule for Monday will be done on Wednesday, Sept. 6. Sweeping scheduled for Wednesday will be done
sweeping          on Friday, Sept. 8

City schools.    Closed Monday, Sept. 4. Students and staff are also off Friday, Sept. 1

Libraries           Closed Monday, Sept. 4

Community     Closed Monday, Sept. 4

Neighborhood   Closed Monday, Sept. 4

Treasurer and    Closed Monday, Sept. 4
of Revenue

DMV Select      Closed Monday, Sept 4

Courts               Closed Monday, Sept. 4

City parks        Open regular hours

Air Power        Currently closed for ongoing work

Public golf.     The Woodlands and The Hamptons are open regular hours and will charge holiday rates

Hampton       Open regular hours, but administrative offices are closed     

Peninsula Health   Closed Monday, Sept. 4
District, clinics

James T.         Open regular hours
Wilson pier

Hampton Roads.  Operating on a Saturday schedule Monday, Sept. 4. Ferries operate on regular weekday service for winter schedule
