[ARCHIVED] Additional Rain Barrel Workshops - March 22nd and May 3rd!

Rain Barrel Workshop Flyer

The Hampton Clean City Commission and the Hampton Master Gardeners are offering two additional rain barrel workshops this spring. Both workshops cost $40 at the door, cash or check payable to Hampton Master Gardeners. At the end of the workshop you will go home with a 50-55 gallon rain barrel that YOU made, complete with screening, faucets, and other hardware.

March 22, Hampton Clean City Commission Office, 1296 Thomas Street, 9 a.m. - 11 a.m.

May 3, Bluebird Gap Farm Feeding Barn, 60 Pine Chapel Road, 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

Did you know that a one-inch rain over a one-story 2,000 square foot house will result in about 1,200 gallons of water flowing off your roof? Capture that water and use it for landscaping, car washing, and other outdoor projects. Why pay for watering your plants when you can rainwater them?

Sign up now and get a head start on the long, dry summer with your rain barrel!
