[ARCHIVED] Get ready for hurricane and flash flood season, which starts June 1st

Batteries, food storage containers, first aid kits, bottled water, radios and more that cost up to $60, or generators costing $1,000 or less, will be tax free. And this year for the first time, gas-powered chainsaws that cost $350 or less and chainsaw accessories that cost $60 or less are tax free. See the list of tax-exempt items below.
