[ARCHIVED] Free Fishing Trip for Military Children and Chaperones

The City of Hampton is offering a chartered fishing trip to twenty military children between the ages of 9-18 on Saturday, August 23rd, from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. They are also seeking five military-family chaperones - one for every five children. The children and chaperones will meet at the Mill Point Park in Downtown Hampton, board a chartered boat for a three-hour fishing trip, and then return to shore for lunch. The event is free and each child will receive a free fishing rod and reel.
