[ARCHIVED] Flood warning extended; roads update

The National Weather Service in Wakefield has extended the Flood Watch until noon today and issued a Flood Warning until 1:15 p.m.
The City of Hampton can expect to get about 2 inches of rain from now until noon. The rain will then start letting up, although another half in to inch of rain may fall through the afternoon. The next high tide will be at 9:48 a.m.
Residents of Paula Maria Apartments are receiving assistance in evacuating from Hampton fire officials. The Northampton Community Center is being opened as a shelter for anyone who needs it.
