On December 13, 2014, National Wreaths Across America Day, remembrance wreaths will be placed at the headstones of fallen veterans at more than 900 locations across the country and overseas. A remembrance ceremony will be held locally at The Hampton National Cemetery, Hampton, VA, that day at 1200 to ensure that the individuals who served to protect the freedoms of our country are not and never will be forgotten.

With the 2014 theme in mind, the Navy Wives Clubs of America Peninsula-Norfolk 91, a local group of military spouses and friends which oversees the WAA fundraising and program coordination for Hampton National Cemetery in Hampton, VA., is calling on their community to volunteer, sponsor wreaths and organize fundraising groups to help cover Hampton National Cemetery 33,000 Graves (Group Location ID: VAHNCV).

Those unable to participate in the wreath-laying ceremony are invited to visit the WAA website at http://give.wreathsacrossamerica.org/goto/NWCA91 http://www.WreathsAcrossAmerica.org.
